  Got gas today and the pump stopped after 8 gallons which I new was only 1/2 a tank. I looked at the pump and watched the gallons and cents slowly rise. I took the handle out of my car and no gas was being released but the gallons and cents still were slowly adding on. It finally stopped when I put the handle back in the holder. I went inside and mentioned the pump stopped and the lady said she new that that had been happening. I told her it was also was adding gallons and cents and not dispensing gas, and she said no that can't happen! Really? Gosh I wish I would have pulled out my phone and filmed it. Argh, won't be going back there.
